Strawberry Festival at Sturtevant, Wisconsin

Posted on July 15th, 2009 in Blogging | No Comments »

This Fruit comes from the family Rosaceae, did you know that scientist don’t consider this as a fruit but a false fruit. “Strawberry Fields Forever”- just as the famous lyrics of the great band “the Beatles”. The fruit itself will be forever being a favorite tasty treat for everyone.

This simply indicates that the fruit actually is not from the plants ovaries but the part that houses the ovaries. It first originated in the European continent and for some accident or let’s says blessed twist of fate spread across the upper part of the United States of America.

Strawberry is enjoyed in many ways. It is usually eaten as it is just washed it chill and ready to serve. Some like it as a milk shake the blend it and put some milk and ice and then viola instant treat. We also have wines from this, they ferment the fruit and it comes out as a very nice alcoholic drink. You can avail it at stores around you and know what I mean. It is very nutritious it contains vitamin b, vitamin c and even calcium. Truly a treat that is also healthy.

But guess what you won’t know the difference, if there is any. This is available in fairly cold climates and it has a season but for off season they cultivate it or grow it in green houses. Consumers cannot stop looking for it so scientist devised a way to grow it out of its normal season.

So come bring your family and enjoy a wonderful mouth satisfying time. This august of 2009 a strawberry Festival will be held. A lot of strawberry producers will be out to showcase their products based from strawberry. It will be surely a feast for all of your senses. Eating strawberries is a lot of fun!

Contrary to popular belief, having a kid is pure bliss. She makes me smile and makes me remember that life is sweet and beautiful. Through her jovial nature that I feel addicted to, I am always transported to a place full of love and goodness.

Kids are Gods gift to us, it is our duty to feed their minds and look after them as they learn to face the battle of daily routine. Being a parent doesn’t end, it will be our lifelong job to look after our kids, what they’ll become in life would be purely the reflection of what we have instilled in them. Posted on June 23rd, 2009 in Blogging | No Comments »

I am a huge fan of the movie Transformers. I am no huge fan of robots or transforming trucks but somehow the movie made me a fan of Sci-fi films. For those of you who haven’t watched the film it is about a young high school boy named Sam Whitwicky who inherited one Transformer car (Bumblebee) and became an accomplice to the war of the robots. The movie contained various twists and turns that featured award winning Sci-fi effects.

At the Nevada Truck Show, monster trucks will be featured for show that could make anyone remember the famous movie. Trucks of different sizes, colors, makes and brands will be present for show alongside their proud owners. There will also be an antique truck show for all old trucks. A car show will also be featured with categories consisting of antique, most fashionable and speediest. All automobiles enthusiasts and aficionados will be gathered in this one of a kind event.

Going back to the Transformers movie, Sam and his girlfriend got tangled up on the war of the machines that has somehow gotten over our planet. In the movie, newcomer Megan Fox is seen as a hot and sexy chick that had guys drooling over. The movie actually garnered her several other major roles in upcoming movies as it became the stepping stone to her stardom.

The movie Transformers does not only cater robots fighting, transforming and all that. Friendship and unity for the common good of others is the best aspect the movie has given. It is about sacrifice, giving up something that matters most for the benefit of others. The movie shows a lot of life angles, including love and trust. It also warns the people about the disadvantage and the advantages of technology in human life..

Come with your comrades to the best and most anticipated Truck Show!

Posted on June 14th, 2009 in Blogging | No Comments »

I love shopping at Farmers Markets where the produces are fresh and the fruits and vegetables are in season. Farmers markets are places where you can buy your goods at extremely lower prices, totaling to almost 50% mark down compared to grocery and shopping mall prices. Going to farmers markets also gives me a keen sense of consumerism pride as I am able to get the best commodities at relatively lower price.

Farmers markets are town bazaars, stalls are usually set up outdoors. Farmers Markets are open only on weekends and mostly held half day, so you really have to wake up early to have the best of the best and fresh picks. Patrons are usually familiar with the farmers in farmers market, here they get to meet and greet with their trusted farmers and start purchasing their goods. What makes Farmers Markets different is that it offers free sampling and tasting, that way patrons won’t be cheated on the quality.

Arkansas is one of the many states that hold Farm and Art market. It surely is a picturesque mixture of fruits, vegetables and arts. Thinking about it arts and market products have nothing to offer in common, all I know is that it’ll be fun to witness this kind of event. Local Artists are present during the fete; they will lighten the busy event. Artists are also given the chance to showcase their art products. It is a abundant and artistic celebration.

Paintings on oil and acrylics will be put up for sale this weekend. There will also be an interesting on the spot face charcoal painting for the spectators and shoppers who would love to see their portrait on canvas. Artists will be more than welcome to commission your artworks for you.

Why Social Networking Traffic has a low CTR

Posted on June 12th, 2009 in Blogging | No Comments »

In this article of OK to Make Money Online, let’s talk about traffic, specifically social networking traffic, e.g. MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, etc. These are the hot spots for social networking. This is great traffic for making personal contacts, meeting friends, and networking. However, the social network is not normally the place to find traffic that is purchase-oriented.

Here’s why: Traffic generated from social networks is interested in socializing, not buying. They want to talk about life, their day, their boss, or whatever. They are not in a buying mood. Oh, they will look at what you have and maybe poke a few buttons, but they will soon get bored and click away and you will not make money. The traffic you want is purchase-driven or wanting the newest thing and ready to buy. They may be doing research or price shopping, so you will help them by directing them to their next purchase.

When you direct traffic from a social networking site to your site, you must make it the latest buzz. The “must have that thing” to be cool. Again, you are directing a buyer. Who cares if it’s the latest pet rock craze they are a buyer. Nevertheless, if it is not a craze or the latest “got to have,” then Google will detect this and so will the advertiser. When this happens, Google will place low performing ads in your Adsense slots and you will not make money.

If you are a white hat, then you know you have a responsibility to the buyer and the advertiser. You are there as an intermediary to entice the buyer to your site and direct them to a product or service to make money. Why do you think sites like Grizzle and “The Keyword Academy” are so popular? They have great, informative content that you want to go back to again and again. Google knows this and directs good solid traffic from high-ranking SERP(search engine results page) to their sites.

If you have properly tuned your site on a single keyword, have good content and are getting traffic, but your CTR is low, take a look at the traffic you are getting. If the majority of your traffic is from social networks, this is where your problem lies. You need to start directing more traffic from your SERP(search engine results page) placement. This will only occur from writing unique articles and having many good back-links. Don’t replace your article writing with traffic from Twitter. Google will know they are not purchase-oriented buyers and downgrade your ads, and maybe your page ranking. And this is not what you want to do to make money.

Health Center Hygiene is Based on Washing Your Hands

Posted on November 23rd, 2008 in Blogging | No Comments »

An integral part of hospital hygiene is the health-care waste management. Inadequate management of the waste could result in the transmission of microorganisms by direct contact or by a variety of other vectors. Hospital hygiene in fact, is a broader connotation, which encompasses broader environmental health considerations such as sanitation and adequate water supply for not only patients, but also for visitors, and health-care staffers. It also depends a lot on the quality of autoclave equipments and the autoclave sterilisers.

Hospital hygiene should ideally start from doctors and nurses at the coal face level. Certified infection control practitioners should be contracted in for teaching the hospital workers on hospital hygiene measures and autoclave sterilisers. Want lightening fast SEO results? Build a Blog.

The exponential rise of blogging as part of the web 2.0 phenomenon has taken the Internet by storm. Smart online and offline marketers and business owners are now using blogs as an additional tool to generate leads, add credibility and improve their search engine rankings. Here are eight reasons why you should set up your own blog:

Blogging gives you products and services personality. People like to do business with people they like. By blogging you show your target market that there is a real person behind the company or product you represent. By reading you blog posts they get an idea of what you’re all about - warts and all. The personal aspect of blogging is one of it’s most powerful characteristics.

Blogging is entertaining. Yes, blogging can be great fun. Just open you posting window and go for it without the restrictions of corporate style guides and other impediments to creativity. Got something to say? Just say it. The other fun aspect of blogging is that people can post comments about your blog posts. You posts plus reader comments all become valuable food for the search engines.

Blogging encourages community. Bloggers love to talk online to other bloggers. If you join blogging communities and make a worthwhile contribution you will see your traffic skyrocket. It’s all about content - fast, useful and entertaining content that people enjoy reading.

Driving traffic to blogs is easy You’ve probably heard about social bookmarking sites like digg.com and reddit.com ? A large proportion of submissions to these sites are blog entries. Want to promote you product? Write an honest review of your product on your blog then submit that blog entry to a social bookmarking site and see what happens.

Blogging is inexpensive. The most powerful blogging systems are free. Wordpress is one of the blogging standards and now comes bundled with many cheap web hosting packages. For less than $100 per year anyone can get their own domain with blogging included.

I wouldn’t use one of the free blogging services unless you are really desperate. You can’t be sure if they will always remain free and your posts will be building up someone else’ asset rather than your own.

It’s fast and easy. If you can use Microsoft Notepad you can blog. The user interface is very intuitive and allows you to add and edit, text, pictures, videos, whatever you want. Want to change the look and layout of your blog? There’s literally hundreds of themes available that take less than a minute to upload and install.

Your blog site becomes another Internet asset. Some blog sites get thousands and thousands of readers each day. This traffic can be converted to hard, cold cash through Google Adsense advertising, affiliate programs and straight advertising space sale. Some people make hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, from providing excellent content through their blogs. Once you blog increases it’s Google PageRank, you also get the benefit of linking out from your blog site to other web sites you want to promote.

Search engines love blogs, I mean really love them. It is said in many SEO forums that Google staff are great bloggers and subsequently Google spiders and indexes blogs more frequently that normal web sites. This may just be a rumour, but I have found it to be true in my case. If you blog every day there’s a good chance Google and the other major search engines will spider your blog every day looking for that new content. I have seen blog postings get spidered and indexed and ranking well in as little as 30 minutes. It seems the blog RSS feeds go straight into the search engines’ data centres. Go to Google and do a search on Blue Nike Sneakers and you will see what I mean.

Convinced? Give blogging a try. There’s stacks of free resources listed in article directories like this one that will help you get into blogging.
